BRAIN STORM

Visual Design Concepts IV

Seven years ago, my father was diagnosed with dementia, or Alzheimer's.

Fond memories of his vibrant, intelligent, and successful self contrast painfully with the betrayal of his own body. This collection draws from his pre-disease persona and the cognitive storm within, representing Part I of a series depicting Alzheimer's evolution. In this collection I delve into his initial state, his past, and the richness of his pre-illness identity—vivid hues, expressive forms, and intricate textures mirroring the intricate neural tapestry.
